Every child learns differently. My aim is to create calm, positive and engaging tutoring sessions that are built around the individual child — their needs, interests, strengths and learning style.

As a qualified and experienced Primary School Teacher and SENCo, I have experience supporting children with a wide range of learning needs. Whether your child needs a little boost in confidence, support with core skills, preparation for an upcoming assessment or additional challenge to help them progress further, sessions are planned specifically for them.

I believe that building a positive relationship with a child is at the heart of effective learning. When children feel comfortable, understood and supported, they are more likely to engage with their learning, develop confidence and take ownership of their progress.

Tutoring can support a range of needs, including 11+ preparation, SATs preparation, homework support, developing core skills, building confidence and providing additional challenge. I can also discuss home-schooling support if this is something you are considering.

Each session is planned with your child's individual needs in mind, using a mixture of practical activities, formal recording and technology where appropriate. Learning from each session helps to shape the next, allowing the tutoring to develop alongside your child.
